This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains how My Career Shop, Inc. d/b/a Career School App ("Career School App", "we", "our") collects, uses, and discloses personal information through its website, digital service, or other system or site on which this Policy is posted (collectively, the "Site"). Any capitalized terms that are not defined in this Policy are defined in our Terms of Use.

2. Information Collected and How We Use It

In addition, we may collect certain personal information automatically through your use of the Site. We will use this information to provide you with the functionality of our Site, to improve our Site, and to provide you with information about our Site. The rest of this section provides a more detailed explanation of the personal information we collect and how we use that personal information. Career School App does not sell your personal information. Career School App does not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. This applies to all users, including consumers under the age of 16. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months and we have no plans to do so.

Mobile Messaging (SMS/Text): No mobile information — including your phone number and any SMS/text opt-in or consent data — will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.

D. Payment Information. If you pay an application fee or other fee through the Site, payment card information is collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processor. G. Marketing Recipient. If you are interested in learning more about our Site, you may subscribe to promotional emails from us via our Site. In order to subscribe, you will be asked to provide your name and email address.

H. Sensitive Information. As described in Section 2.1(B) (Applications), Participating Schools may require applicants to provide a variety of information as part of the application process. Some of the information requested by Participating Schools may be considered sensitive under applicable laws or commonly understood privacy standards. Depending on the requirements of a Participating School, such information may include government-issued identification information (such as driver's license information or the last four digits of a Social Security number), citizenship, immigration, or visa information, health and medical information, disability and accommodation information, criminal history information, background screening information, demographic information, military or veteran status, and similar information requested by the Participating School. We collect, use, retain, and disclose this information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including facilitating applications to Participating Schools, supporting admissions and enrollment processes, complying with legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining the security and integrity of the Site, and fulfilling our other legitimate business purposes. Applicants may also choose to provide information of this nature when communicating with Participating School personnel through the Site's communication features. 2.2. Automatically Collected Information

A. Browser & Device Information. Whenever you interact with the Site, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser or device, which may include your IP address, device identification, "cookie" and pixel tag information, the type of device you're using to access the Site, the amount of time spent on the Site, and the page or feature you requested. "Cookies" are identifiers we transfer to your browser or device that allow us to recognize your browser or device and tell us how and when pages and features in the Site are visited and by how many people. "Pixel tags" are tiny graphic images with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, that are used to track online movements of web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a computer hard drive, pixel tags are embedded invisibly in web pages. You may be able to change the preferences on your browser or device to prevent or limit your device's acceptance of cookies and pixel tags, but this may prevent you from taking advantage of some of our features. We use automatically collected information to operate, secure, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, improve, and analyze the Site; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity; maintain audit records; verify compliance with legal obligations; and understand how users interact with the Site. We may also use it to improve the Site. For example, this data can tell us how often users use a particular feature of the Site, and we can use that knowledge to make the Site interesting to as many users as possible.
