ABC Pelican states on its own apprenticeship page that it "is a Registered Apprenticeship Program Sponsor", that it registers apprentices with the U.S. Department of Labor, provides and supports the related technical instruction, and tracks on-the-job learning hours (abctraining.org/apprenticeship-1, retrieved 2026-08-26). Craft courses follow NCCER curricula and ABC Pelican administers NCCER knowledge assessments and performance verifications. No institutional accreditation is claimed anywhere on the site.

NCCER Core is the prerequisite for the NCCER craft courses. An employer sponsor is optional; ABC Pelican enrols registered apprentices only through their employers, but individuals may enrol in the training programs without a sponsor.
