Program Overview
The School of Fashion offers an AA degree program in Fashion Communication. In addition to emphasizing the principles and practice of the written journalistic form, the AA Fashion Communication program offers coursework in fashion design to afford journalism students a broader appreciation of the craft.
As a student in the Academy’s School of Fashion, you’ll step into every facet of the industry—selecting fabrics, designing textiles, illustrating concepts, and building brands. You’ll create digital assets, shape marketing campaigns, and plan product launches for a global market. You’ll work with the same tools and technology used by today’s leading labels—thinking across cultures and designing for a worldwide audience. On any given day, you might walk the runway in a live show, draft a press release, design a lookbook, or map out a strategy for sustainable production. Every moment is hands-on. Every project is a step toward your professional debut.
