Program Overview

The AA program offers a strong introduction to the core principles of creating fine art. Students choose an area of emphasis from drawing and painting, or sculpture. The Associate of Arts degree can be used as a stepping stone to the BFA program.

At the Academy, you’ll explore form, medium, and method—from metal fabrication and sculpture to monotype and printmaking, chiaroscuro to cityscape. Style isn’t handed to you—it’s built, tested, earned. Whether you’re refining realism, breaking into abstraction, or carving your own hybrid path, you’ll gain the tools to explore and the space to evolve. Skill. Risk. Impact. You’ll find your voice and share it with the world.

What sets this Program apart

Our faculty are working artists who know how to turn talent, technique, and vision into a profession. You’ll develop your artistic voice and  translate it into a portfolio that opens doors. You’ll learn how to find apprenticeships, attract representation, and gain exposure without compromising your artistic voice.
