This program is offered only to individuals who have met the minimum qualifications for a peace officer applicant as specified by the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board (AZPOST). To attend the academy, an individual must either be appointed by a law enforcement agency or through an application process as set forth by the Public Safety Institute.
