Program Overview
This certificate includes courses in basic programming methodology, as well as beginning and advanced software development for the iOS platform. Students will learn the basic components of iOS apps using Swift, as well as frameworks including SwiftUI and SwiftData. Advanced coursework will also include working with maps data and iOS device sensors. Students who complete this program will be able to develop their own iOS apps and submit them to the App Store, in addition to being prepared for software development jobs across a variety of industries where iOS apps are actively used. Upon completion of the required courses with at least a “C” or “P” grade in each course, the student will be eligible for a Job Skills Certificate.
