Program Overview
Logistics is a rapidly growing field encompassing goods management from the assembly line to the end user. The Bakersfield College Logistics Management degree is primarily designed to provide formal training for careers in the following logistics-related jobs: warehouse management, operations management, supply chain management, purchasing and contracting, and transportation management. Upon completing the Logistics Management A.S. Degree, students will have the skills necessary to obtain an entry-level position in Logistics Management for career advancement or to enable a student to transfer to a four-year institution to continue their studies in Logistics Management. Upon completion of graduation requirements and the required degree courses with at least a “C” or “P” grade in each course, the student will be eligible for an Associate of Science degree.
