Kitchen Techniques for New Culinarians Certificate of Completion

The Kitchen Techniques for New Culinarians Certificate of Completion provides an introduction to the culinary arts program. Students have the opportunity to explore commercial facilities and coursework involved in a culinary arts college program. Students will receive training in basic baking and cooking skills. The certificate is also a gateway to other noncredit and credit programs. The certificate is not intended to replace a credit course or certificate; but instead give students an opportunity to explore the field of culinary arts which receiving knowledge that will qualify them for work opportunities in domestic and commercial kitchens. To Achieve the Certificate of Completion: Upon completion of the required courses with a grade of “P” for passing, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
