At Champ's Barber School, we aim to train our students to be successful and professional barbers. We teach students the mandatory areas to be successful in passing the Pennsylvania Barber Examinations, and then more. Our students are equipped with the knowledge of both Theory and Practical skill sets to ensure our program is giving students the tools to become their own unique success in the Barber Industry.
Course Length: 1250 Hours To be completed (no less than) 9-months Depending on your schedule students can graduate between 9 and 14 months. We offer Day classes as well as evening and weekend classes for those who work full-time but would like to pursue our barbering program in hopes of a career change.

You are about to begin an exciting training experience that will prepare you for a successful career in barbering. Trained at one of the top schools, but an award-winning teacher and barber – Champ Hall – and surrounded by historic downtown Lancaster City, great things are ahead of you!Once you fill out your interest form below, one of our staff will be in touch to discuss financial aid options (for those who qualify) and schedule an interview. General Requirements
- The absence must be verified by submission of statement (ex. Doctor, family emergency etc.)
- ALL unexcused hours must be made up by student and student must fill out a make- up hour sheet to be approved by instructor.
- Students must inform a teacher or an administrator when they will be absent.
- It is mandatory that students wear the Barber Jackets or Aprons that are provided while on the clinic floor. (Must take off when leaving the premises).
- Students must sign IN and OUT using the hand scanner to receive training hours for the day. (If the hand scanner doesn’t work, you must get your hours signed by a teacher or…
- Daily punctual attendance is required for all classes. Doors lock at 9:05 for AM theory.
- Students must receive permission if leaving the building for more than five minutes.
- Students are allowed to smoke only during their breaks and are required to do so in the designated smoking area (on the side of the building).
- If a student refuses to provide services to a client, Champ's Barber School Administrators and Instructors reserve the right to suspend the student for refusal of service.
