Program Overview
The Associate in Applied Science degree program in Communications Technology is a cooperative effort between Richard J. Daley College and the Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Trust (EJATT) which is made up of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local Union 134. Through the joint effort of the college and EJATT, the program is dedicated to consistently provide state-of-the art education and training to apprentices, and through them to the residential and commercial building contractors in the Chicagoland area. This commitment to both the individual and industry requires not only providing electricians for today’s market, but also for tomorrow’s market and future technologies. This selective admissions program requires students to submit a separate application or to take additional action before enrolling.
