Program Overview

This program is designed to train students to meet employment requirements in the field of air conditioning. This will include the installation, repair and maintenance of common air conditioning equipment. Included in this program is the study of residential and commercial air conditioners, heat pumps, gas and electric furnaces, humidifiers, and system design and selection. Throughout the entire program, an emphasis is placed on current techniques used by service technicians. See catalog for official certificate requirements . Courses that complete the certificate, the Rising HVAC Technician Certificate (RC) and the Technician Level I Certificate in Air Conditioning (TC) are noted below.
