- 33. Submit Your ApplicationOnce you are ready to apply, you’ll need to complete an admissions application and submit all the required documentation. You’ll also need to pay a $60 non-refundable application fee. Our team will carefully review your application to ensure everything is in order.

Our Barber Crossover Program is designed for licensed cosmetologists seeking a dual license by learning the core skills of barbering. Our program covers:

Our Crossover program prepares you specifically for the Crossover Barber Licensing Examination, building on your existing skills while filling in the knowledge gaps required for licensure. With 12 extensive State Board prep sessions per year, you’ll get targeted preparation to help you pass your exam and expand your professional offerings.
Our curriculum is a blend of theory and hands-on experience, guided by experienced instructors, all within a collaborative setting where your personal growth is a priority. Whether you want to work in an established barbershop, start your own business, or expand your current offerings, you can gain the knowledge and confidence to make barbering part of your success story.
Students can complete the Barber Crossover Program in as little as a week and a half! The course includes 45 clock hours of instruction with two schedule options. You can attend full-time (38.5 hours per week) or part-time (28.5 hours per week). The schedule you choose will impact the time it takes to complete the program.
