Program Overview
Empire Beauty School’s specialized cosmetology educator program provides everything you need to be an exceptional beauty school educator, which includes: educational techniques using our exclusive curriculum; instructional techniques to help you guide a classroom; and training to help you develop lesson plans and team-building methods with your students. As a cosmetology educator, helping students understand and master beauty concepts will be a daily routine.
Admission Requirements and Process
A Student must meet the state minimum age requirement to enter school (if applicable) and must submit the following: a copy of valid state or federal issued photo identification; a copy of high school diploma or its equivalent, such as a copy of GED certificate or copy of transcript showing high school completion, or proof of attainment of an Associate’s degree or higher by providing a copy of a college transcript showing college completion or college degree; a Career Planning interview; the required fee(s); and a Complete Enrollment Package. Students may have to complete an admissions assessment. Empire Beauty School does not offer Ability to Benefit. Foreign diplomas must be translated to English and evaluated from a recognized agency to indicate that it is equivalent to a US high school diploma. Students applying for the Educator Training program must meet state enrollment requirements: a current Cosmetology License.
