Program Overview

Our signature Barber program is offered at our North Seattle location. Many of our graduates work in local salons, shops, and own their own businesses. But they all started with the same first step: Enrolling in our Barbering program.

This course will train students in cutting, braiding, shaving and styling of the hair.

Objective: To prepare students for an entry level position in the salon field performing all hair services normally offered in the profession.

The Barber program is 1,000 clock hours, taught through lectures, demonstrations, and lab work with a combination of live models and manikins. The catalog states: "Accreditation approval only at Everett and North Seattle/Shoreline Campus. Not currently enrolling."

What you’ll learn. Our Barber program focuses on design and cutting—from traditional to ultra-trendy hair styles. Unlike other schools, we even teach you a classic and luxurious barbering art: shaving facial hair with a straight-edge razor. You’ll gain valuable experience working with real clients in our campus clinic floor.
