Program Overview

Industrial Engineering Technology offers a technical certificate and associate of applied science degree option. Several IET classes are offered in a hybrid online format. FHTC also offers Industrial Electricity and Industrial Wiring classes in Spanish for multilingual students. High school seniors and juniors are also eligible to apply to this program. The technical certificate is a one-year program. Students will learn the basics of industrial and residential wiring, motor controls, industrial mechanical principles as well as hydraulics and pneumatics. The associate of applied science degree is a two-year program that contains technical and general education courses. Graduates will have the knowledge and skills needed to install, service and repair machines and equipment common to all industries and the opportunity to achieve the OSHA 10 General Industry certification. La Tecnología de Ingeniería Industrial ofrece un certificado técnico y una opción de grado asociado en ciencias aplicadas. Varias clases de IET se ofrecen en formato híbrido en línea.
