Facilities Maintenance Program

This program equips students with the essential skills needed to launch a successful career in the Facilities Maintenance field. Throughout the program, students will have the opportunity to earn the following nationally recognized certifications, enhancing their ability to excel and advance within the industry. EPA 608 Universal Students must pass the Core section and at least one additional category to meet graduation requirements. OSHA 10 Students must pass the OSHA 10 exam (70% or higher) to move on in the program. Throughout the program, students will reinforce their learning through hands-on assessments designed to demonstrate their mastery of practical problem-solving skills essential for success in the industry. Students will gain comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols, proper use of PPE, and the professional conduct required to excel in the trade. They will also develop vital customer service skills to build the trust and rapport that clients expect and appreciate. Students will be issued PPE that includes bump cap, gloves, and safety glasses. Dependability is a cornerstone of this program. Students are expected to arrive on time, in uniform, and prepared each day, developing the accountability, work ethic, and professionalism that employers value. Graduates will be awarded a certificate of completion.

Credential. Graduates will be awarded a certificate of completion.

Six weeks, hands on. 6 consecutive weeks of in-person training, 115 lecture hours and 125 lab hours, 240 clock hours in total. Student to instructor ratios are 1:30 in the classroom and 1:20 in the lab.

Industry certifications. Students have the opportunity to earn EPA 608 Universal, OSHA 10. Students must pass the Core section and at least one additional category to meet graduation requirements. Students must pass the OSHA 10 exam (70% or higher) to move on in the program.

Veterans. ForgeNow is eligible for Veterans Education Benefits, including the GI Bill®, and this program is VA-approved.

Lodging Grant. To make ForgeNow programs accessible to those who do not live in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, ForgeNow is proud to offer a lodging scholarship to prospective students who live more than 30 miles radius from the ForgeNow training facility. This Lodging Grant provides lodging for the entirety of the ForgeNow program of attendance, starting the day before the program starts and ending the day after the program is complete.

Lifetime career services. ForgeNow offers lifetime job placement and career assistance at no charge to all students who are awarded a COC for any program.

To apply to a ForgeNow program, prospective students call ForgeNow at 1-877-872-2660 or submit their information on ForgeNow.edu. A member of the ForgeNow Admissions team will then reach out to discuss the program of interest, class start dates and answer any questions. All programs are taught in English, and each admission interview is conducted in English.

Length and hours. 6 consecutive weeks, 240 clock hours: 115 lecture and 125 lab.

Class schedule. Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm. 15-minute break prior to lunch, 15-minute break after lunch, 30-minute lunch

Delivery. In person (on campus), full time. Student to instructor ratios are 1:30 in the classroom and 1:20 in the lab.

Cohort start dates. ForgeNow runs 7 cohorts a year; the published 2027 calendar lists its four website programs. Contact admissions to confirm the next start for this program.

Campus hours. 7:00 AM CST to 5:00 PM CST Monday – Thursday and 7:00 AM CST to 4:00 PM CST on Friday. Instruction hours are 7:00 AM CST to 3:30 PM CST Monday – Friday.

No application or registration fee. The catalog publishes no application or registration fee for this program.

Ways to pay. Student may elect to pay for their tuition and fees using GI Bill® benefits, a private loan, a third-party loan, cash or credit, third-party scholarship(s), Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act funding, contractor sponsored, or a combination of any of these payments' methods. ForgeNow does not have internal Tuition and Fees scholarships.

Institutional loan. Institutional Loan – All students have the option of applying for a ForgeNow 36-Month Institutional Loan with interest rates varying based on the amount of the down payment. ForgeNow Institutional Loans are serviced by TFC Credit Corporation of California, NMLS# 1708442.

Veterans. ForgeNow is eligible for Veterans Education Benefits to include the GI Bill®. This program is VA-approved.

Lodging Grant. A lodging scholarship is available to students who live more than a 30-mile straight-line distance from the ForgeNow training facility, covering lodging for the length of the program.

Career services. ForgeNow offers lifetime job placement and career assistance at no charge to all students who are awarded a COC for any program. Support covers resume format, cover letter assistance, mock interviews, soft skills, 1 on 1 meetings.

Employer partners. ForgeNow works with employer partners including ABM, JLL, Knightvest Management, The Seer Group, Omni Hotels, Neighborly®, CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, C&W Appliance Service, Boeing, Aireserv, City of Farmers Branch Texas.

Note. ForgeNow does not guarantee employment. Outcomes vary by location, employer, and individual performance.

Graduation requirements. A Certificate of Completion (COC) will be awarded to each student who successfully completes all the academic requirements and attendance requirements for their program. Students must have a minimum attendance over 90% and a CGPA above 2.0. Students must complete and pass the certifications assigned for their program.
