Program Overview

This certificate is a series of eight courses which meet the educational requirements of the Department of Regulation & Licensing (DRL). With appropriate work hours, students can become a Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC). With appropriate work hours and a Human Services degree students can become a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC). All courses may be applied toward the Human Services Associate Degree.
