Cosmetology Refresher is a Diploma program offered by Hair Professionals in Oswego, IL. The program takes 250 clock hours to complete.
Program Overview
The 250 hour Cosmetology Refresher Course is designed to meet the individual needs of the student to better prepare the student for again taking the examination. The course is typically used when a student doesn't pass their State board exam initially, or a period of time has elapsed and they want to refresh their knowledge and skills before attempting the State Exam again. The course prepares the student for an entry level position in Cosmetology or a related career field.
Hair Pros cosmetology refresher course offers a tailored learning experience for both licensed cosmetologists seeking to refine their skills and individuals passionate about hairstyling without formal certification. Each student after completion of the 250 hours will be able to demonstrate technical skills and professional work standards in required subject areas and qualify for examination with the state to obtain an Illinois Cosmetology license.
Graduation requirements. A diploma is issued to each student who has completed the required curriculum hours of the course, maintained not less than a 75% average on all required written and practical examinations, and made satisfactory payment arrangements on any financial obligations to the school. If the student returns to school for the purpose of retaking the Illinois state board exam, the student will be required to attend theory and practical classes, online study and exam.
