A wildlife or natural resource technician has the technical knowledge and ability to work directly with wildlife and to manipulate their habitat or environmental conditions to enhance populations. Graduates of the Wildlife Management program are qualified for entry-level positions with state and federal land-management agencies, natural-resource consulting firms, and others involved in on-the-ground stewardship where skills of forest and wildlife management are needed.

Students have the opportunity to become certified in the following areas: South Carolina Commercial Pesticide License, South Carolina Prescribed Burning Certification, First Aid and CPR.
