Nursing (Traditional)

The Traditional BSN totals 120 credit hours and is typically completed in about 32 months across eight semesters. Keiser's signature one-class-at-a-time model, delivered in focused four-week terms, lets students concentrate fully on a single subject before moving to the next, with new classes beginning every month.

Nursing coursework is offered on campus at select Florida locations, with Fall/Spring semester scheduling or year-round attendance available at participating campuses. As students progress, they complete a sequence of increasingly advanced Care Management courses supported by clinical rotations in real healthcare settings and simulation lab experiences. Prerequisite sciences must be completed with a minimum grade of B, and students must satisfy background check, drug screening, and immunization requirements before clinical placement.

The curriculum combines general education coursework with a progressive nursing major spanning foundational sciences, professional nursing, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and a sequence of Care Management courses reinforced by clinical and simulation experiences. Tuition at Keiser University is charged per 16-week semester based on scheduled credit hours.
