Management Information Systems

Students take one class at a time in focused four-week terms, with new classes starting every month. This concentrated format lets you give full attention to a single subject before moving to the next.

The program totals 123 credit hours and takes approximately 41 months to complete for a full-time student, though timing varies with transfer credit and course load. Classes are offered days, evenings, and online at select campuses, with on-campus, online, and hybrid options available.

Coursework is organized into a lower division (business foundations and general education) and an upper division (core MIS and IT courses plus upper-level general education), with hands-on group projects providing applied experience. This program does not include a clinical or externship requirement.

The MIS curriculum blends business administration coursework with core information-technology subjects such as systems analysis, data communications, database management, business intelligence, project management, and IT management. A representative sequence of courses is shown below.

Required Courses

Tuition is charged per 16-week semester based on the credit hours you are scheduled to take. At the full-time rate (12-17.99 credits), undergraduate tuition is approximately $12,408 per semester per Keiser's Undergraduate Tuition & Fee Disclosure (subject to annual review). New students also pay a one-time $55 application fee and a one-time $145 registration fee at enrollment.
