Health Services Administration

The program follows Keiser's signature one-class-at-a-time model, in which students take a single course over a focused, accelerated term with new classes starting every month. The degree requires 120.0 credit hours and takes approximately 40 months to complete full time, though timelines vary with transfer credit (up to 12 credits may be transferable) and individual pace.

Coursework is available online, on campus at Florida locations, or in a hybrid format. The curriculum is organized into lower-division courses (51.0 credit hours) and upper-division courses (51.0 credit hours), plus general education requirements, and culminates in a Health Services Administration capstone project. This is an administration and management degree, so there is no clinical or externship requirement.

The curriculum spans lower- and upper-division coursework in both the public and private health care sectors, covering healthcare leadership, marketing, public policy, finance, ethics and law, research methods, and operations, and concludes with a capstone project. Required Courses

Tuition is charged per 16-week semester according to the credit hours you are scheduled to take. At a full-time load (12–17.99 credits), tuition is approximately $12,408 per semester per Keiser's Undergraduate Tuition & Fee Disclosure (subject to annual review). Financial aid is available to those who qualify, including the Federal Pell Grant, FSEOG, Federal Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans, Direct PLUS Loans, and Federal Work-Study; Florida student aid such as FSAG and EASE; institutional scholarships; and veterans and military education benefits (GI Bill®). The Bachelor of Arts in Health Services Administration is an academic management degree and does not itself confer a health care license or certification. Graduates who pursue certain roles, such as nursing home administrator, may need to meet separate state licensure requirements; the degree provides relevant preparation and can also serve as a foundation for graduate study in health administration.

Expect an administration- and management-focused program rather than a clinical one. You will move through one course at a time in accelerated terms, allowing you to concentrate fully on each subject while balancing work and personal commitments.
