Cisco Network Administrator (CERT2)

• Cisco Network Administrator, Level 2 Certificate
• Computer Networking Specialization-Cisco, AAS
• Students are recommended to enroll in the Network and Computer System Administrator program, which includes content from these deactivated awards.
• The Cisco program prepares individuals for jobs in the computer networking field.
• Program Highlights
• Students in this program gain hands-on skills in basic network design, network management, network automation, network security, and device management. Students will also acquire programming and project management skills.
• Credentials and Careers
• Upon successful completion of this program, students will have the necessary background to take one or more of the following exams:
• CompTIA A+
• Cisco CCNA
• Cisco Devnet industry certifications
• Transferability
• General education courses (Core) are designed for easy transfer to Texas public institutions and applicable to requirements at private and out-of-state institutions.
• Technical coursework may be transferrable to other institutions.

• Prerequisite: Completion of Cisco Network Analyst, Level 1 Certificate (24 Credit Hours)
• This award requires 36 credit hours in total; the course list below is the 12 credit hours specific to it.

• Resolve common issues with inter-VLAN routing.
• Configure advanced routing and switching protocols.
