- The Emergency Management program includes two levels of certificates and an associate of applied science (AAS) degree, offering students multiple exit points to pursue employment and later return to pursue the next level of education as they progress in their career.
- Graduates are prepared for employment with government municipalities, emergency service agencies, risk management agencies, and corporate risk management departments. Graduates of the program will have a broader understanding of Emergency Management and Homeland Security and will bring that understanding to their roles in their places of employment. Graduates will be prepared to assume responsibilities in emergency management positions.
- Transferability
- Graduates of the program will be prepared to continue on to Lone Star College’s Emergency Management baccalaureate program or transfer their credit to another 4-year institution.
