- Graduates of the AAS program qualify for Entry Level Concept Artist, 3D Modeling, 3D Animation and Level Design positions at Game Development Studios all over the world.
- Transferability
- General education courses (Core) are designed for easy transfer to Texas public institutions and applicable to requirements at private and out-of -state institutions.
- Technical coursework may be transferrable to other institutions.

Program Learning Outcomes
- Game Design & Simulation Designer (Artist) Level 2 Certificate
- Design a simple computer game from initial concept to final design document.
- Identify the stages of project completion.
- Identify the different testing types.
- Game Design and Simulation Designer-Artist AAS (also includes certificate PLOs)
- At the conclusion of the Game Design and Development Program, the student will deliver a portfolio that demonstrates entry-level skills within their concentration.
- Evaluate and review games to ascertain quality of design, playability, interest and appeal.
- Demonstrate industry professionalism and the ability for continuous growth through membership in industry organizations, attendance at industry-related conferences and participation in professional social networking.

- Tuition shown is the in-district rate of $111.00 per credit hour for 39 credit hours.
- Out-of-district Texas residents pay $249.00 per credit hour ($9,711.00); international and out-of-state students pay $313.00 per credit hour ($12,207.00).
- Lab fees vary by course and liability insurance, uniforms and supplies vary by program, so Lone Star College publishes no all-in total for this award. Tuition above excludes them.
