Program Overview
The Dental Assisting program is designed to prepare students for employment as a professional chairside assistant. Students focus on the basics of dental assisting, nutrition, dental prevention, dental disease, infection control, instruments, and tray setups for dental procedures. Students become proficient in dental materials, anatomy, radiology, dental specialties, law and ethics, and CPR. Students also learn through valuable clinical experiences.
Proof of TB test completed within the past year must be submitted prior to registration.
