Construction & Carpentry Technology

The Construction & Carpentry Technology program is 12 months in length (four quarters). Students earn 72 credit hours, which equals 1,344 clock hours. The student-to-instructor ratio for the program is 17:1. Tuition is payable on a quarterly basis. There are four quarters in an academic year. Our start dates are as follows: - Fall 2026

**Quarter 1** - CST 110 — Introduction to Construction & Carpentry (7.5 credits) - CST 112 — Construction & Carpentry Fundamentals I (9 credits) - CST 113 — Construction Blueprint Reading I (3 credits) - Subtotal: 19.5 credits **Quarter 2** - CST 120 — Construction Concrete (8 credits) - CST 121 — Construction & Carpentry Fundamentals II (8 credits) - CST 122 — Construction Blueprint Reading II (3 credits) - Subtotal: 19 credits **Quarter 3** - CST 130 — Exterior Finishing (7 credits) - CST 131 — Construction & Carpentry Fundamentals III (7 credits) - CST 132 E — Externship (2.5 credits) - Subtotal: 16.5 credits **Quarter 4** - CST 140 — Interior Finishing (12.5 credits) - CST 141 — Professional Development (2 credits) - CST 142 E — Externship (2.5 credits) - Subtotal: 17 credits **Total credit hours: 72** (1,344 clock hours)

**Tuition** - Tuition: $22,565 **Mandatory fees** - Lab fees: $960 - Technology fees: $200 - Tool/material fees: $310 - Books: $310 - Other tools/materials: $2,575 **Total estimated cost of enrollment: $26,920** All fees listed are mandatory and required for the completion of the program. Additional certifications and field trips are optional and costs are assessed separately. Programs may have additional continuing education costs that are required for licensing and/or job placement. Amounts listed are estimates and subject to change. **Registration fee** - A $100 registration fee secures a seat in an available start date. - If the applicant cancels after the fifth business day subsequent to signing the enrollment agreement, but prior to attending class, the school will retain the registration fee not to exceed $100 and all other money paid will be refunded. **Financial aid** Perry Technical Institute offers a variety of financial assistance to eligible students. Aid in the form of grants, loans, jobs, and scholarships help offset the cost of educational expenses. Financial aid is administered in accordance with established state and federal policies and philosophies. A student's eligibility for federal and state aid is determined through the submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.
