Admission Requirements and Process

All applicants must have earned a high school diploma, General Education Development Certificate (GED), or a recognized equivalent education, and be at least 16 years old. Perry Technical Institute programs are considered full-time and run year-round. **Enrollment procedures** 1. To start the enrollment process. 2. After completing a program tour and deciding to apply, contact Enrollment Services to complete the requirements for your chosen program. 3. Pay a $100 registration fee to secure a seat in an available start date. Perry Technical Institute enrolls students based on the date their registration fee is paid. Students will be contacted according to their enrollment date when a seat becomes available for an earlier start date. Amounts listed are estimates and subject to change. **Registration fee** - A $100 registration fee secures a seat in an available start date. - If the applicant cancels after the fifth business day subsequent to signing the enrollment agreement, but prior to attending class, the school will retain the registration fee not to exceed $100 and all other money paid will be refunded. **Financial aid** Perry Technical Institute offers a variety of financial assistance to eligible students. Aid in the form of grants, loans, jobs, and scholarships help offset the cost of educational expenses. Financial aid is administered in accordance with established state and federal policies and philosophies. A student's eligibility for federal and state aid is determined through the submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.
