The Mechanical Automation Technology program consists of four semesters. Students take coursework designed to prepare them with a variety of skills to maintain and repair factory equipment and other industrial machinery.

The students are encouraged to pursue an internship during the second half of the program with one of our the many manufacturing facilities in the area. Combining real-world work experience with Ranken’s high-quality education will allow you to gain the confidence and experience to jump start your career. Students also take general education courses to complete the complete the degree or certificate.

Note: Students have the opportunity to earn dual degrees in Electrical Automation Technology or Control Systems Technology by adding an additional semester. Students can earn all three degrees in as little as 6 semesters. Programs are location specific.
