Interest on unsubsidized loans accrues from the date of disbursement and continues throughout the life of the loan. - Parent PLUS Loan — A loan by the U.S. Department of Education to graduate or professional students and parents of dependent undergraduate students. No. A student cannot receive Federal Student Aid at more than one school at a time. It is important to note that leaving a school prior to the end of the first school’s academic year may have an effect on your federal student aid eligibility at SAE. However, please see the Financial Aid Department for any options there may be.
