A sterile device processing technician is assigned duties performing decontamination, preparation, sterilization and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment throughout the surgery center, utilizing infection control and safety practices during all phases of the process. 16 Week Workforce Ready Certificate; prepares for: HSPA Certification Exam (CRCST), WIN Essential Soft Skills, OSHA-10 Healthcare. Fall 2026 schedule: Mon/Tue/Thu 6:00PM–9:00PM at Area 31 Career Center; mandatory clinical rotations weeks 9-14; Interview Seminar Wed Sept 23.
