Ranken’s Automotive Professional Technician (APT) program is a unique program featuring paid internships at specially selected workplaces, allowing enrolled students to earn while they learn. Starting with their first semester, students alternate between eight-week blocks of instruction and eight-week blocks of fieldwork throughout the five-semester program. This format allows students to gain real-world experience in addition to their hands-on training by implementing their newly learned skills immediately. Automotive students who complete internships in this way typically go on to accept full-time positions at their place of work after graduation.
